Propeller of legend

I flew this plane when I was 16 I believe. It was in 79 or 80 I recall. I didn’t even have my driver’s license yet. It was a thrill to solo eventually when I had 20 or so hours under my belt. I never went on to get a FAA license because my father sold the plane by the time I was to take the written FAA flight exam.

BitTorrent, eXeem, Meta-Torrent, Podcasting

"The index that facilitates the sharing of files on a large scale is also the Achilles heel of peer-to-peer file-sharing, because it is vulnerable to litigation and closure. So what happens if the index is itself distributed? I try to get my head around the latest in peer-to-peer file sharing, and explain a bit about what I've learned, including the fact that BitTorrent's power rests in its 'swarm' distribution model, but not necessarily in your end-user download speed. What has this got to do with podcasting? (Answer: invisible P2P plumbing helps the podcasting wheel go round)."

Another the letter

Some fortunate occurrences caused me to have a little hope in the upcoming new year. Not feeling very good today and am almost thinking of getting a check up. I need one and it has been years since my last. A girl interviewed me the other day from a local rag. Said she wanted to know "What makes a relationship last?" or "What are requirements for a healthy relationship?" type of question. I said something along the lines of "It takes compatibility and chemistry. Being able to be independent but still keeping the other person in the loop. Honesty.

Before and after picture

There is a gushing stream that is out my window many feet above it's usual state. I wish I had my digital camera.
