Springing into it all

May is in full swing on a beautiful saturday afternoon. I'm basking in sun and parking a few car lots for an art fair. A crowded event in a small village. Parking spaces are going for 5 dollars with about 20 or 30 spaces. I will probably not be going to the race this year. The 500 gets sickingly lame after years and years of seeing it,... cars going round in circles, arrrrugh!!. There are too many cars on the earth's roads and more comming. Look at how many car comercials are aired every waking second of each TV network, 24/7. And think about how many people die from collisions in them (it is the car killing the people), air pollution from them, environmental damage from them. Just as owing a gun that could possible kill someone, can't it be said that owning and driving a car is a potential weapon? Why don't we just jail everyone who owns a gun or car as a potential killer?
I guess I'm just obsessing on not really driving at all for almost 2 years. It's totally disgraceful after the many years I have driven a car. From coast to cost and north and south I have poileted a metal shell on it's 4 wheels and I don't know I'f I really want to own a car let alone drive it around anymore. Well maybe a hybrid.
